Si-Boards - Breaking the rules on balance boards

  • South Pasadena High School Sports Medicine Program, Pasadena, California. The students from South Pasaden High School Sports Medicine program jumped on board with great stability and challeged each other to 15 second max reps with the balls. Seminar was on February 4, 2010.
  • WCSM- West Coast Sports Medicine Foundation at Carson, California. June and I put on a "Functional Training" seminar and it was great to see my Athletic Training buds and watch them jump on the boards.   • Long Beach Polytechnic High School- Student Atheltic Training Program in Long Beach, California. The football team room won't be the same since we invaded.   • Chapman University- Athletic Training Education Program in Orange, California. The Athletic Training Rehabilitation class worked up a good sweat and were troopers for 2 hours of Si-Boarding! Class was in session on March 15, 2009. For more info go to www.chapman.edu.
  • Girls Skate Day- hosted by the Action Sports Alliance in Encinitas, California. Professional sakteboarders Cara-Beth Burnside, Mimi Knoop and Lyn-z Adams Hawkins put on a skate clinic for girls.   • NATA- National Athletic Trainer's Association Annual Symposium in St. Loius, Missouri. Show dates were June 18-21, 2008. Congratulations to the winners of the 5" balls! For more info go to www.nata.org.
  • APTA- Americna Physical Therapy Association Annual Convention in San Antonio, Texas. Show dates were June 12-14, 2008. It was super hot in Texas and a great show to meet professionals of Physical Therapy. For more info go to www.apta.org
