Top Surface


Non-Toxic, water based finish with special grip particles. The grip adds traction.

Middle

All board tops are made with high quality solid birch plywood. Original models feature a 9 ply board top and the Starter Models and Ultimate Fitness Board have an 11 ply board top. The Starter Boards and Ultimate Fitness boards have weight limits due to flexing of the wood which is the nature of plywood. The board will flex when one ball or one Half-Ball is used because of the small single pivot point. The heavier the user the greater the flex of the board. Customized boards are available if you are over the weight limit or we suggest the Original Models.

We integrate a continuous rocker in our Original boards. The rocker gives you a faster ride and transfers your momentum with ease. The rocker lets your hips move in a more natural motion and actually makes it easier to ride.

Our boards come in the following dimensions:

Si-zmik - (Seismic) big and strong just like you: 45" x 19”

Ultimate Fitness - the total body workout: 45” x 19” with 225 lbs / 102 kg weight limit

Surf Series - get into the tube: 42” x 18”. Surf Starter weight limit: 200 lbs / 90 kg

Powder Series - ready for downhill action: 41” x 15”. Powder Starter weight limit: 200 lbs/90 kg

Si-klone - (Cyclone) not your average twister (sister): 34” x 18.5”. Si-klone Starter weight limit: 225 lbs / 202 kg.

Si-dkik - (Sidekick) your little buddy: 27” x 15". Si-dkik Starter weight limit: 225 lbs / 202 kg

Si-chi - The beginning of balance: 18” x 10"

Rail Blocks

Sturdy and strong urethane rail blocks hold a thick steel rail to the board on the Original models. Each block is designed to absorb the force of the rail when it hits the ground. The height of the block gives you an inch of space between the board and rail. It's pretty cool to see the ball moving under the board through the windows. The rail blocks also allow you to grab the board and not get your hand caught under the board.

Steel Rail

The Original Boards feature a thick steel rail for board strength and to help keep the ball under the board. The rail is secured a total of two inches off the board. The rail follows the path of the board and allows you to ride the ball under each foot. You aren't losing any board space. The rail gives the board stability for a solid feeling platform. The length and width of the rail allows plenty of side-to-side and front-to-back motion. Slam the ball against the rail with confidence and tilt to extreme angels without falling off. Getting up on the board is easy because the rail and ball are in contact- you don't have to worry about the ball slipping out from underneath you. Grab the board by the rail and carry it with you- the rail makes it easy! Stop chafing your underarm.

Urethane Rail and Creator kits

Our Starter Boards feature a one inch high urethane rail. The rail is secured directly to the board. Each Starter Board has a slightly smaller riding space compared to the same board with the Original steel rail. You get the same great ride while the smaller rail allows you a narrower stance. Beginners have more control over the board with the smaller urethane rail. Starter Boards are not intended for aggressive riding and tricks due to the shorter railing height compared to the Original Boards.

Our Creator Kits come with their own urethane rail. Each rail is designed with interchangeable extension pieces. You can lengthen the rail in 4 inch increments. We supply the rail, extensions, 3” Mini ball, hardware and assembly template.

Skate Kit - designed for most skateboards and sized to 16.25” or 12.25” x 6.25”.

Starter Kit - the same rail on our Starter boards and sized to 20” or 16” x 9.5”.

End Stops

With our End-Stops you have infinite adjustments with the rail on the Original Boards. Attach and secure an End-Stop onto the railing and slide it along the length of the board. The End-Stop will prevent the ball from rolling to the end of the board. Attach one at each end and keep the ball centered under the board or keep a ball secured at each end when using two balls. The End-Stops are a great attachment for someone who requires a shorter ride stance but wants the large board space for full body motions.

Balls

You are balancing on a totally unique solid ball made from urethane. The urethane is extremely durable and holds up very well to hard riding and repetitive bouncing. The ball hardness is like a skateboard wheel with greater tacky surface feel. We’ve put our balls in a five ton press and squished them pretty far. The solid urethane held up without a blemish and still performed perfectly. Try doing that with an air-filled ball! Pop! The feel and weight of the ball creates a realistic, smooth, and solid ride. The weight of the ball varies per size and allows you to shift your weight smoothly. The heavier the ball the more leg strength required to get started and to control momentum. You get a solid and consistent ride every time!

The smaller the ball the faster the ride speed. The smaller the ball the more front-to-back motion you have. The smaller the ball the closer you are to the ground and you have to keep your hips level. The smaller balls are for beginners because they keep the board closer to the ground. 

Our balls bounce with amazing return at lightning speed. You have to concentrate and keep your focus or you have a big surprise coming at you. We’ve added bumps on the surface of the ball for easier hand grip. You will love the feel, bounce and ride of these balls. There is no other ball like this on the market.

Here’s a special note about air filled sport balls and medicine balls. In our three year search for a suitable ball we tried every type of ball you can imagine. We couldn’t find a suitable ball to balance on- so we manufactured our own. It is possible to balance on a Si-Board using an air filled ball however the level of skill required and type of movement does not truly replicate a Si-Board ball. It is not possible to get an air filled ball the same hardness as a Si-Board ball. A light air filled ball will feel jerky and inconsistent when it rolls on the floor. A weighted air filled ball is not perfectly round when balancing on a Si-Board which leads to an unsmooth ride. An air filled ball will deflate and warp producing a very large egg shaped surface area to balance on. Compare this to the silver dollar sized area of the largest Si-Board ball. In the long run this larger surface area inhibits you from getting true Si-Board benefits. An air filled ball will not give you enough challenge or a smooth and consistent feel.

Ball diameters include:

3" Mini - 0.6 lbs / 0.27 kg. A great ball with our Starter Boards. Sized slightly larger and heavier than a baseball. Throw against the wall for training drills with the baseball/softball team also.

5" Tiny - 2.5 lbs / 1.13 kg. Rides fast and low to the ground. Women find this ball easy to grip- sized similar to a large grapefruit. Great for one armed exercises for shoulders and high bounces.

6.5" Medium - 5.5 lbs / 2.5 kg. A great all around ball for all Original Boards. Men easily grip this ball- sized similar to a dodgeball. Great ball for two armed exercises, quick movements and endurance.

8.5" Bigs - 12.5 lbs / 5.68 kg. For advanced riders with strong legs and who aren’t afraid to be high off the ground. Sized similar to a soccer/volleyball. Great ball for strong and well conditioned athletes.

10" Super Deluxe - 20.5 lbs / 9.32 kg. For advanced riders with strong legs.  Rides the slowest and gets you the highest off the ground. Slightly larger than a basketball, this ball is for powerhouse athletes.

Our ball will never burst, deflate, warp, flatten, or give up!

Half Balls

Start your balance off with a Half-Ball. If the ball is too extreme for you due to an injury, learning new moves, or you just want to practice some skills on a more stable board, then check these out. Our awesome Half-Balls will work anywhere under the board.

Place it under the center of the board and have an even weight distribution. Place it under the right foot and strengthen your right leg. Place it more toward your toes and work your calf muscles to keep the board balanced. Place one Half-Ball under the board to make a traditional wobble board and move in all directions. Place two Half-Balls under the board to make a rocker board. The rocker board will only move side to side. You can freely twist on these Half-Balls creating more hip and abdominal coordination.

With one or two Half-Balls strategically placed under your board you can get 10 different types of movements! Take any exercise and change it quickly and with ease.

You can purchase the Half-Balls by themselves and create your own balance board with an old surf/snow/skate/wake board. Try putting your board at a slant using a stair step to simulate going downhill or getting up on your water ski. If you place a Half-Ball under your sport board, we suggest using the flat side against your board and the round side on the ground. The rounded side of the Half-Ball may be too small of a pivot point and may cause damage to your board after repetitive use and high impact.


The Half-Balls come in the following sizes:

Micro - specifically for the Si-chi. Has a height of 1.5"

5" - great for the Starter Boards and comes with the Ultimate Fitness. Has a height of 2.5”.

6.5" - works great on the Si-dkik and Si-klone Original boards and an advanced Half-Ball for the Starter boards and Ultimate Fitness. Has a height of 3”

8.5" - works great on all Original boards, especially the Si-zmik. Has a height of 4”.

Ultimate Fitness Board

The Ultimate Fitness Board features a unique design allowing the user ultimate adjustability. The board size is 45” x 19”- the largest balance board on the market. Made with solid birch 11 layer plywood for durability and strength. Due to flexing in the wood with heavier users the suggested weight limit is 225 lbs / 102 kg. Keeping your foot/feet over the Half-Balls will eliminate the board flex. We can custom make a thicker board if you are past the weight limit.

The Ultimate Fitness comes with our Resistance Band System and two 5” Half-Balls. A carry handle is integrated in the board design for easy moving.  Seven one inch holes are strategically placed around the perimeter of the board. These holes are used to secure the long loop straps and, including the handle, give you eight points of attachments for the resistance bands. Using straps to attach the bands avoids unnecessary wear on the bands compared to fixing the band against a recess in the board. You get eight different angles of pull while standing in the same position. Place the Half-Balls in a variety of configurations and get ten types of movements.

The board top and holes have a nice routed edge making everything splinter free and reducing any sharp contacts for the straps. The grip is strategically placed on the board top to avoid contact with the straps. The Ultimate Fitness is the largest balance board out there. This allows you to get into unique positions like the lunge, wide squat, and hands and knees not possible on other balance boards.

The Ultimate Fitness board features grip on the top surface and a bare bottom surface allowing you two types of surfaces to use. You will love this board- it is such a challenge!

Resistance Band System 

We’ve put a lot of thought and time into developing a versatile Resistance Band System that offers a lot of height/resistance adjustments and is comfortable and strong. The Resistance Band System can also loop around the rail of the Original Si-Boards. Whether on a ball or Half-Ball, attaching the bands to the railing creates added board movement requiring counter balance and fine tuning of your entire body. To create different angles of pull attach the Resistance Band System to a stable object such as a table leg or fixed pole.

The Resistance Band System comes with two handles, two long loop straps, two foot straps, six latex resistance bands, and a carrying bag. When on the go, the carrying bag is designed to loop around the rail of the Original Si-Boards models or the handle of the Ultimate Fitness board. The bag has a locking drawstring to keep your contents secure. Throw your gear in the bag and head to your favorite spot for a workout. 

Our strap system features sturdy metal welded O-rings and heavy duty polyester webbing similar to seatbelt material. Our webbing offers superior strength, resistance to UV, stretching if wet and abrasion. The long loop straps have three rings for band attachments- giving you three levels of height adjustments. Simply loop the long strap around the rail block or rail of the original Si-Board models. The long straps measure 15 inches, allowing you to loop it around a pole, table leg or other stable object. Two short straps measure 10 inches allowing you to loop it around your foot and do leg exercises. The foot straps can also be looped around a stable object, the Original Board rail or a hole in the Ultimate Fitness Board. 

Three sets of resistance bands- light, medium and heavy have a plastic clip at each end. The stretch and resistance of the bands is consistent every time. Use one or a combination of bands clipped into the O-rings for a variety of resistances. The handles have extra cushion grips- giving you a comfortable hold for large and small hands. The size of the handle is thick enough to sit against your open palm without feeling like it is cutting into your hand. 

As with all of our products, the Resistance Band System is manufactured in the USA with quality materials. Compact, light and easy to carry when you travel- a gym in a bag!

Crazy Board Names

Our products and catch phrases are goofy ideas we had due to lack of sleep and enthusiasm for scrabble games. The camera brings out the best ham from Elysia. Most people think we are a little nuts anyway. If you have a dry sense of humor watch out... you may get a chuckle or two.





Only 30 Minutes to Learn

It takes about 30 minutes to learn how to ride, stop, and fall off a Si-Board with grace. The harder you ride the better your work-out. We guarantee you will breathe hard and work up a good sweat while riding.
