Fast And Responsive:

Our Economy version of the Original board makes for a wild good ride. With the combination of fast balls and a light board anybody who rides this will train their quick reaction speed. Also perfect for toddlers and small kids for full body training on Half Balls. A great starting point for kids and those learning how to balance without being overwhelmed by size and options.

Perfect At The Office Or Traveling:

Many use this balance board at the office or on the go. It is so easy and light to pack into a gym bag and take it anywhere. You can ride on concrete and rough surfaces with the durable urethane rail and not worry about extensive damage. A great board size that stores easily and will keep your luggage light.

Balance On These:

Create your own unique combo that suits your needs. Add Balls and Half Balls for your training. Featuring an adjustable rail so you can grow with your board. A great option for young kids with smaller feet who quickly outgrow their clothes!
3" Mini Balls: These are the smallest Balls and are very quick and responsive. They will keep you close to the ground and give you the sensation of floating on air. Beginners should start with these balls. If using on an extremely padded surface or deep carpet these balls will be absorbed and limit your ride motion. Use two balls to create a double pivot board and then progress your skills to one ball.

5" Small Balls: This size Ball is an advanced size and will give you a lot of tilt with starting and stopping. The 5" Small Ball should be used by adults and kids with larger feet who can ride the 3" Mini balls well.

5" Half Balls: These small Half Balls are the perfect beginner size that will create a challenging surface. Perfect for toddlers and kids progressing to this board. Use two for a basic rocker board or one for a wobble board tilting in all directions. Half balls allow you to progress from the basics of balance or multi-task in complex motions as you progress.

6.5" Half Balls:
This size Half Ball gives you a lot of tilt for experienced riders who need more range of motion. You will be able to rotate the balance board better with this size. Use a 3" Mini Ball and 6.5" Half Ball for the Thrasher and Rock and Roll combos. Use a 5" Small Ball and 6.5" Half Ball for the Big Drop combo.

Rail Extensions: All Starter Boards feature a urethane rail that is pieced together. You can put in middle rail extensions to increase the length by 4" or 8". The rail can also be placed on a larger board. A great way to adjust and reuse your balance board as you gain in skill and height. If using the 8" Extension kit you will need to use a larger board top. The rail can always be taken off and placed on a larger board. The 4" Extension kit will create a 20" length rail and you will need to drill new rail holes.

Elysia's Notes:

I have enjoyed watching kids learn how to balance on the Turbo Starter. The rail size is perfect for small feet compare to the Turbo Original. They confidently learn the board movements and how to engage their muscles. It is fast and a very tight ride area compared to any other board. It is a unique ride to keep the board level to avoid grounding the sides. When I use this board I know I can completely control the motion and multi-task.

Balance Board Progression From Beginner To Advanced:

Basic Combos:
  1. Rocker Board: 2 Half Balls
  2. Wobble Board: 1 Half Ball
  3. Single Pivot Board: 1 Half Ball and 1 Ball
  4. Double Pivot Board: 2 Balls
  5. Multi-Direction Board: 1 Ball
Specialty Combos:
  1. Rock and Roll: 3" Mini Ball rolling inside a 6.5" Half Ball at each end
  2. Thrasher: 3" Mini Ball rolling inside a 6.5" Half Ball
  3. Big Drop: 5" Small Ball fixed tight inside a 6.5" Half Ball

Economy the wrong word to describe this board. Top quality construction and an infinite number of moves you can make with this board. Solid company both product and service.

Great product and excellent customer service. January 2, 2015

I ordered the Si Board about a month ago after researching the product online and settled on the Turbo Starter w/ 5" Ball for my 15 y/o daughter who plays on her high school tennis team.  I chose the Turbo Starter because of the compact size and the price.  Since getting the board, my daughter has been on it practically everyday improving her balance skills and strengthening her core muscles.  It also improved her tennis game by making it easy for her to get down low in hitting the low balls.  That was one of the intended benefits of balance training with the Si Board.  I also ordered a 3" mini ball and a 5" half ball for myself to help me work my way up to the 5" ball.  Lastly, I have to say that the customer service was just awesome.  I contacted the company about picking up the board instead of having it shipped since my office was nearby and can you believe the owner replied saying she would drop it off at my office which she did a few days later.

This is a compact board great for kids under 5.  Adults can use it too.  But the bigger boards give you more of a workout.
