Solid , Smooth and No smell September 3, 2021 Reviewer: Chia-Liang Chiang from Hsinchu City (300), Taiwan   Honestly,  before i order these product. I have tried many other solutions: wood ball, baseball, glass ball, ...... all the above balls move sloppy, and wierd. Only Elysia's ball is really good to control smoothly. Gliding on a still point... Worth it!! March 6, 2021 Reviewer: Kate Hulpke from Eugene, OR United States   This ball is a thing of beauty. I never thought I'd spend $200 on a ball, but I'm glad I did. There's nothing else like it for balance training. It's SO well made. It has heft. The surface texture is just right - smooth, yet with a grippy feel, and tiny bumps spaced out over the surface. Does not slip or slide under your board. Instead, what you get is that magical feeling of gliding... the very feeling we all crave when we hit the waves, or the slopes, or the skatepark. But now, accessible at home, every day! This size is working well for me with the Surf Original board. I also have the 5" ball, which is good when just starting out.  I'm glad I got both, but if you can only afford one, you can't go wrong with this 6.5". I also love that this company uses PAPER in creative ways - instead of plastic or styrofoam - to pad the shipment boxes. Yay!! The packing paper can also be smoothed and saved for future use. Awesome ball for balance board riding! December 29, 2015 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from TX United States   This ball is fantastic for balance board riding! I was skeptical on spending so much for something that seemed so basic and I tried using other items as a substitute but there is no comparison to the ride quality and also the utility of this ball. Not only does the ball provide an unmatched ride quality due to minimal compression, but since it can be used on any surface without having to worry about damaging the floor you are riding on. Excellent product, the BEST medicine balls! June 19, 2014 Reviewer: Evan Klaus from Glendora, CA United States   I am extremely pleased with Si Boards' medicine ball products. Every medicine ball is extremely durable and stands up to abuse very well, and I predict that these balls will last for many, many years of wall slams, etc. This 6.5" ball is excellent (as a male) for one armed throws and catches, and for warming up/cooling down leading to the heavier medicine balls or doing pyramid style workouts. While one Si medicine ball by itself is a ton of fun, these products really provide the most benefit if you have several medicine balls to work with. In my experience, this 6.5" ball makes a perfect complement to the 8.5" ball. I will be using these medicine balls for years to come, and I am so satisfied with the purchase I would happily buy a replacement pair several years down the line if they do end up deteriorating -- so far, though, I predict that these products will last AT LEAST 5 years, and quite frankly, I imagine they will last even longer than that.
